History of construction of the Kansai-kan

Except for some of the external work, the construction of the Kansai-kan of the NDL was completed and handed over to the NDL by the Kinki Regional Development Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on March 20, 2002. After that, on March 23, a handing-over ceremony was held by the Kinki Regional Development Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the NDL. The ceremony was attended by around 100 people from the House of Representatives and the House of Councillors, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, local governments, and construction companies.
