Conclusion
This exhibition has shown the various forms of Go left on paper in Japan through materials at the NDL.
At present, there is a strong impression that Go is only enjoyed by professional players and some enthusiasts, but the fun of Go has spread around the world to the extent that professional players from Western countries are active in Japan. You can play Go with people all over the world on the internet. Also, the news (Asahi Shimbun 2016.1. 28, morning edition [Z81-1], etc.) reported that a human professional Go player was defeated by an artificial intelligence in a Go match. The Go world may have entered a new phase.
However, the pleasure of playing Go has not changed from ancient times to the present. We hope this exhibition will deepen your interest in Go literature.
