In the Humanities Room, general and humanities reference books and core journals of library and information science are on the open shelves.
The Makoto Kato Collection of art exhibition catalogs, Verner W. Clapp Collection, Nunokawa Collection, and Documents of the Imperial Library are in the closed stacks. Among them, the Documents of the Imperial Library are available online via National Diet Library Digital Collections.

- Photocopying may not be permitted if there is any risk of damage to materials.
- Photocopying is generally not permitted for materials of the Nunokawa Collection, in order to preserve them in their original condition.
