Archives

The Archives contains six documents created or collected by people or organizations that played an important role in the effort to enact the Constitution of Japan. Documents that concern the series of events related to the enactment of the Constitution - not only those created by the Japanese officials but also those by the Allied nations - are presented here. Certain papers included in the documents (d) and (e) are exhibited in "Documents with Commentaries" as well as here in "Archives."
