After the Great East Japan Earthquake 2011, Fujifilm carried out a photo rescue project. They cleaned photos that had been damaged by the tsunami and returned those photos to the original owners. The method for treating damaged photos is shown on their website. You will find manuals on issues such as cleaning water-damaged photos and albums, photos stuck together, and water-damaged negatives. This information is invaluable in the aftermath of a water disaster. - New link on Storage Environment: "Toward Sustainable Environmental Control: Temperature and Humidity Control at the National Diet Library of Japan" (December 2014)
