2025-2-7 We are experiencing a high volume of new user registrations and requests to change user information

We are currently receiving a high volume of requests for new user registrations, upgrades from simple to official registered user, and other changes to user information. Please be patient, since these requests are taking a considerable about of time to process, irrespective of whether they are submitted by visiting the NDL, via the NDL Search, or by postal mail.

In particular, new user registration at the NDL is taking much longer than usual because of the large numbers of patrons visiting the library.
Please be aware that when the library is crowded, the reception desk might close earlier than scheduled. Please come to the library early in the day if you intend to request new user registration.
