Katsumi Fujita graduated from the Morioka Koto Norin Gakko (Morioka Agricultural College) and took a voyage to Argentina to engage in farm management in January 1910 and then to Brazil in July and participated in the survey of the site for the planned Iguape Colony by Ikutaro Aoyagi of the Tokyo Syndicate. In March 1914, Fujita served as an engineer for the Brazil Colonization Company and provided instruction for the Registro Colony until August 1924, then relocated to Santos and became the head of the Santos Japanese Association. Masao Hashida, an Iwate Prefecture Engineer, became an Engineer for the Brazil Colonization Company. It is supposed that Hashida made this copy of the document.
