In this work, Yamamura Saisuke records the manners, products, anecdotes and other information about Western countries. H端bner's De nieuwe, vermeerderde en verbeterde kouranten-tolk, ... and works of E. Buys, N. M. Chomel, etc., were referenced. Our copy was belonged to Watanabe Kazan and only includes pts.3-6, and pt. 3 and 4 are bound in the reverse order. The title slips were written by Kazan. This book was transmitted as a transcription, and after the death of the author, it was published as a four-volume set in 1848.
